InTech Competition - Celebrating Excellence in Industrial TechnologyThe ITE InTech Student Project Competition celebrates outstanding Major Projects produced by Year 12 Industrial Technology students across NSW. Run by the Institute of Technology Education (ITE), InTech provides students with the opportunity to showcase the skill, creativity, innovation and craftsmanship demonstrated through their Major Project. Applications are submitted directly to ITE, giving students from across all Industrial Technology focus areas the opportunity to have their work recognised. Who Can Enter?The competition is open to Year 12 students completing an Industrial Technology Major Project in any of the six focus areas:
Students may nominate their own project, with the support of their Industrial Technology teacher. What Do I Need to Submit?Applications should showcase the completed Major Project and clearly communicate its quality, complexity and key features. Students will be asked to provide:
The folio will provide judges with further insight into the development, planning, production and evaluation of the Major Project and support their understanding of the skills and processes demonstrated in the completed work. AwardsProjects will be considered across all six Industrial Technology focus areas, recognising excellence in: Automotive | Electronics | Graphics | Metalwork | Multimedia | Timber Each winner will be awarded a prize of $500. Selected projects will be recognised by ITE and may be showcased through ITE publications, events, social media and other promotional opportunities.
